KF-OLIVE — A Specialized Nutritional Formula for Olive Trees and Gardens
A dedicated nutritional solution for olive trees at rooting stages, pre-bloom, end of fruit set, and harvest preparation. Also suitable for gardens.
An original formulation based on components of KF-10, specifically designed for olive tree care at all stages of fruit development. Can be combined with growth regulators and oils applied by foliar spraying to weaken the stem before mechanical harvesting.
KF-OLIVE has been successfully tested in stem-weakening programs prior to mechanical olive harvesting (tree shaking). Replacing mineral fertilizers in the mixture with KF-OLIVE significantly reduced leaf drop during harvest without increasing the rate of fruit remaining on the tree.
The product is suitable for application to the root zone via irrigation systems and/or drenching. Using the product after harvest and during early fruit development stages contributes to tree vitality, higher yields, and reduced alternate bearing.
KF-OLIVE is non-toxic, does not leave residue, and is non-caustic. It is supplied as a liquid, fully soluble and easy to use.
By fertigation: 1–2 liters per dunam through drip irrigation
By drenching:
50 cc per 10 liters of water for mature trees
20 cc per 5 liters of water for young trees
100 cc per 20 liters of water for transplanting mature trees
Foliar spray: 0.12%–0.8% of spray volume (choose volume for full canopy coverage)
When mixing with other substances:
Sprayer cleaning: After spraying, empty tank residues as per effluent disposal guidelines. Wash sprayer and all parts with water and detergent. Dispose of effluent as required.
Effluent disposal: Do not discharge or wash any product residues onto soil, fishponds, or water bodies. Dispose via approved methods (e.g., spraying in agricultural fields, reuse, purification, evaporation, or transfer to hazardous waste sites like Ramat Hovav).
Store the product in a closed, locked, and cool facility.
In case of accidental spillage: wash the area thoroughly.
Fertilizer pump (hydraulic/electric):
0.2–1% solution
For an average garden or balcony: dilute 350–550 ml in a 25-liter fertilizer tank and top up with water (used about once a month)
Drenching for monthly application:
Add 20 ml per liter of water, mix well, and drench each plant with 150–250 ml
Drenching for trees/shrubs:
Young: 20 ml in 3–5 liters of water monthly
Mature: 50 ml in 10–20 liters of water monthly
Transplanted tree: 100 ml in 10–20 liters of water
Planters:
80 cm planter: 10–15 ml in 2.5 liters of water monthly
100 cm planter: 20–30 ml in 3.5 liters of water monthly
Pot 30×30 cm: 20 ml in 1 liter of water monthly
Pot 60×60 cm: 20–40 ml in 3 liters of water monthly
Pot 80×80 cm: 40–50 ml in 5 liters of water monthly
Greenhouse ornamental plants: 1–2 liters per dunam monthly
For home sprayers: dilute 10–20 ml per liter of water and spray to runoff
